Senior Retail Account Executive
Overview
Optilogic’s Sales organization is seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to sell Optilogic software and services into retail accounts. The Senior Account Executive will promote and sell supply chain design solutions to achieve an annual sales quota. Scope
Core responsibilities include working in the sales organization and focusing efforts on selling Optilogic’s solutions and professional services offerings throughout North America. You will work to achieve an assigned quota. This position will report directly to the VP of Sales. This individual will leverage their industry contacts and connections to gain access to prospects in their assigned territory and rapidly build out pipeline, strategize and orchestrate sales opportunities, coordinate scoping efforts, write proposals, and negotiate/process software subscriptions and projects. This role is effectively a hunter role and the individual is expected to develop a pipeline in Optilogic’s retail vertical.
This individual will need to have extensive supply chain applications sales experience/tenure and must be able to articulate clearly the value of Supply Chain Design as a core function and capability for any medium to large enterprise. Candidates must have a clear understanding of the process and function of Supply Chain Design in contrast to supply chain planning and supply chain execution. The following sales experience (LLamasoft; CAST; CAPS Logistics; LogicNet+; Supply Chain Strategist, Starboard, FICO Xpress, etc.) will be prioritized.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and work campaigns with sales and marketing to drive net new and incremental business.
- Build pipeline and close sales focused on Optilogic’s core offerings (supply chain design solutions and adjacent technologies).
- Work closely with pre-sales and professional services team to identify, qualify, and drive opportunities for sales and solution solving.
- Coordinate with the professional services organization to generate services proposals and SOWs.
- Work in a start-up like environment demonstrating flexibility, agility, and the ability to pivot in a frequently changing environment.
- Learn and demonstrate (level 1) Optilogic’s Supply Chain Design solution and be conversant in concepts like cloud-native infrastructure, elastic computing frameworks, and InfoSec/cybersecurity requirements.
- Work with current customers to identify new project requirements, scope efforts, and develop estimates and proposals.
- Review, negotiate, and deliver to closure SaaS agreements with prospects and customers.
- Adhere to company contracting guidelines, methodologies and standard operating procedures.
- Identify and escalate commercial, bookings or legal issues when appropriate.
- Communicate frequently with cross functional teams including SMEs, Engineering, Services, Legal, and Finance.
- Ensure data quality within Optilogic’s CRM.
- Expect 25% to 50% travel.
